6. SYSTEM PARAMETERS’ PROGRAMMING
In order to enter the programming menu of system parameters („main
programming menu”), the installer should use the command [*][8][Installer’s
programming code], while the system is totally disarmed.
Notes:
1. The default value of the installer’s programming code is „0269” and it should be changed before or
after the system parameters were programmed.
2. All programming sections are dedicated to the installer and only some of them are accessible to the master user,
too.
System programming parameters are explained bellow.
To enter the programming menu of system parameters („main programming
menu”), follow the next steps:
1. Enter the command: [*][8][Installer’s programming code];
Once this procedure was initialized by entering [*]key, all keypad LEDs will turn OFF. After
entering the installer’s programming code, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps, confirming
the system is within „main programming menu”.
While the system is within „main programming menu”, the keypad LEDs’ status will be as follows:
ON
OFF
Blinking
OFF
OFF
OFF
Note: The main programming menu can be exited by pressing the [#] key. When exiting the „main
programming menu”, the system will go back within disarmed status and the keypad LEDs will display the system and
zone status.
2. In order to program the system parameters, you should select one of the sections
from [01] to [66].
While the system is within „main programming menu”, in order to enter each section, you
should enter 2-digit order number of the respective section, by entering the 2 digits
corresponding to the section number (i.e. for section no. 7 enter [0] and [7] keys).
After entering the 2 digits corresponding to the section number, the keypad buzzer will beep
for 3 times, confirming the system is within respective section.
Once the system just entered within any programming section, the keypad LEDs’ status will be as follows:
ARMED A LED
ON
ARMED B LED
OFF
SYSTEM LED
Blinking
READY A LED
ON
READY B LED
OFF
1 to 8 zone LEDs
ON, OFF or Blinking, according to the selected section
2.1 Each programming section has got one or several programming submenus.
Once any programming section was selected, the system finds itself within 1
-st
submenu
of the programming section (which may be a single one) and within submenus the system is
waiting for the some specific data to be entered from the keypad. After a complete data set,
specific to each submenu, was entered, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 confirmation beeps
and the system will pass to the next submenu of the programming section. After a complete
data set, specific to the last submenu was entered, the keypad buzzer will sound 6
confirmation beeps and the system will go back within „main programming menu”.
