1.1 Set the type of the selected zone by entering a 2-digit group, according to the table
bellow:
These zone types are usually used for entry/exit detections. The zones can be violated
during the exit delay without triggering the alarm. Once the system/partition is armed, first
violation of these zones will start the appropriate entry-delay timer. The user must disarm
the system/partition before the appropriate entry-delay timer elapses or the system will
generate an alarm. If a delayed zone triggers the alarm, the system or the appropriate
partition will switch to an instant working mode which will be signaled by a fast blinking of
the corresponding ARMED LED.
There are 2 entry-delay timers:
- the “entry delay 1 timer” which applies to all zones defines as “delayed 1” type and
- The “entry delay 2 timer” which applies to all zones defines as “delayed 2” type.
Entry delay 1 and 2 times may be independently set from 1 to 255 seconds within [30]
section and the default settings are 30 seconds for each entry delay time.
This zone type is usually used for the interior detection devices, such as passive infrared
sensors (motion detectors). The zone will not cause an alarm if it is violated during the
entry delay of the respective partition. However, if the zone is violated before the entry
delay has started it will generate an instant alarm.
The follower zone can be also violated during the exit delay without triggering the alarm.
This zone type is usually used for the interior detection devices, such as motion sensors that
are not situated within entry/exit area. The instant zones can be also violated during the
exit delay without triggering the alarm, but once the system/partition is armed, the zones
will trigger the alarm as soon as they will be violated.
The 24 h burglary zones are permanently active irrespective of the armed or disarmed
system/partition status. This zone type is useful for the connection of glass-break detectors.
[06] 24 h sabotage/
/tamper zone
The sabotage/tamper zones are permanently active irrespective of the armed or disarmed
system/partition status. This zone type is useful for the connection of tamper contacts in
the system to prevent any sabotage attempt after the system installation and
commissioning.
The panic zones are permanently active irrespective of the armed or disarmed
system/partition status. This zone type is useful for the connection of panic buttons/pedals
for a specific event to occur in emergency situations that could be also reported to a
„central station”.
The fire zones are permanently active irrespective of the armed or disarmed
system/partition status. This zone type is useful for the connection of smoke detectors. The
acoustic warning in case of this zone type violation will be in pulse irrespective of the
respective attribute programming, being the first in order of priority over the other alarm
types.
[09] 24 h medical
emergency zone
The medical emergency zones are permanently active irrespective of the armed or disarmed
system/partition status. This zone type is useful for the connection of panic buttons/pedals
for a specific event to occur in emergency situations that could be also reported to a
„central station”.
Each time this zone type is activated, the system/partition will be armed/disarmed as
regards to its previous armed/disarmed status.
Note: any violation of the „tamper”, „panic”, „fire” and „medical emergency” zone types will produce specific
code reporting to the „central station”, if the digital communicator is enabled by programming and the
appropriate reporting codes are programmed, too.
Pressing [#] key, the type of the selected zone can be maintained as it was previously
established.
After the 2-digit group corresponding to the selected zone type was entered (or after
[#] key pressing), the keypad buzzer will sound 3 confirmation beeps and the panel will pass
to the next step, displaying the ATTRIBUTES
1
set on 1 to 8 Zone LEDs.
While the system is within ATTRIBUTES
1
displaying submenu, the keypad LEDs’ status will be as
follows:
ON / OFF, according to the ATTRIBUTES
1
set of the selected zone
Pressing [#] key, ATTRIBUTES
1
set can be maintained as it was previously established.
1.2 First set of zone attributes are display-able on 1 to 8 Zone LEDs, according to the table
below. In order to establish the ATTRIBUTES
1
set, you should press the numeric keys
which correspond to the Zone LEDs. After each key pressing the appropriate zone LED
