The following parameters are not saved in System memory or
Setup memory. They will return to the default settings when
you power-off the V-Piano Grand.
Tone Button Mode
Local Switch
Leave the USB Driver at the GENERIC setting. If you change this
to ORIGINAL, you’ll need dedicated drive software in order to
connect the V-Piano Grand to your computer. For more about
the dedicated driver software, refer to the Roland website.

Saving parameters
Different parameters are saved in different locations (Tone,
Setup, or System). Tones and the parameters saved in a Setup
are not memorized until you save them to a Tone or to a Setup.

Adjusts the volume of SMF music
file, audio data, and the input.

Speaker Out
OFF, ON
Turn this “OFF” if you don’t want
sound from GM2, Wav, or the input
to be heard through the speakers.
This allows you to listen to the
sound of the piano from the V-
Piano Grand itself, while using
external speakers to listen to the
accompaniment.
EQ Mode SETUP, SYSTEM
Equalizer settings can be saved
within each setup. When you
switch setups, this setting specifies
whether the equalizer settings will
change to the settings saved in
that setup (SETUP) or will not
change (SYSTEM).
