Customizing the Kits
Parameter Value Explanation
Pad Maximum
Volume (*1)

Maximum volume of each pad
This lets you decrease the
volume of the strongest hits
while preserving their nuances.
Use this to keep the volume
down while still maintaining
the nuances of the strongest
hits.
* This is available only for
pads that support digital
connection and for input
from the MIDI IN connector.

Pressing the [F5] (H & R) button to switch this on lets you make
simultaneous settings, such as both the head and the rim.

You can set the “Kit Volume on the KIT SETTINGS screen (VOLUME
tab) as well.

The MIXER VOLUME and MIXER PAN settings can be copied (p. 45).
Applying Eects
Use the eects to change the volume (pad compressor) and tonal
character (pad equalizer) for each pad, or to set a maximum of three
eects to apply to the drum kit sound (multi-eects).

1. Press the [MIXER] button.
2. Press the PAGE [UP] [DOWN] buttons to display the
settings screen.

3. Edit the eect settings.
