PISTON
ASSEMBLY
* Keep the crank case
in
a vertical position.
* Position
the
piston
on
to
the
connecting
rod
small end and thumb push the piston
pin.
* Arrow mark
on
piston crown to face the
timing side.
* Wrap a cloth around the connecting
rod.
* Lock the piston pin with circlips
* Stagger the piston rings
as
shown.

Top Ring End Second Ring End
* Remove the cloth
CYLINDER
BARREL
* Apply grease
on
the
seating
surface
of
the
crankcase
and
place
cylinder
base
gasket.
* Lubricate piston
rings
with
sufficient supply
of the fresh engine
oil.
* Support
the
piston
on
crankcase
as
shown
in
the picture.
* Thoroughly lubricate cylinder
bore
