You will want to remove the paper rollin at.least two Instances; 1) when a red line can be seen on the paper (this means

Is almost empty): and 2) when you want to remove the Journal roli and re-set the Journal.
1. Remove the Journal compartmlilnt cover as desalbed previously.
2. Press the {FEED] key to advance the paper until aJlthe printed PM 01 the paper has been taken up by me wind·
on shaft and fresh paper can be seen.
3. Lilt lha wind-on shaft and cut the paper where Iresh paper stMS.
4. Ramovelhe prInted copy from the wlnd-on shaft. This Is done by holding the shaft nrmly and gently pushing
the shalt Irom Its snapped-In position on the left nange to the wider groove adjacent on the left nange. Once the nange
is loose, pull the journal paper roll ot1lhe shaft.
5. II the paper roll needs changlng,lIttou! the remalnlno part 01 the old paper rol/ from the paper roll holder. remove
the
paper thai Is still In the pnnler mechartlsm, and Insert a Iresh paper roll In the manner descnbed previously.
6. Replace the sldellange 01 the wlnd·-on shaft, snap In 11'110 the narrow groove, and nestle II back Into positJon In
the compartment.
