2.5 CALLS AND NOTIFICATIONS
2.5.1 SETTING MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS
When notifications are enabled and the watch is
connected to the Ryze Fit App, the watch will receive
push message notifications from your smartphone. The
Ryze Fit App must be set to permit notification access
running in the background and with unrestricted battery
use (for Android phones).
1) To enable notification access and background
running permission for the App:
On Android phones:
• Go to phone Settings > Apps > Ryze Fit and make
the following settings for the App. Tap Permissions,
allow permission for Notifications and SMS and
then disable the switch for Pause app activity if
unused. Tap Battery or App battery use and enable
Unrestricted.
• Go to phone Settings > Apps > Ryze Fit. In the
following App info page, tap
at the top right and
tap Allow restricted settings.
On iOS phones:
• Go to phone Settings > Ryze Fit > Notifications and
turn on Allow Notifications.
2) Open the Ryze Fit App. Go to Device tab. Tap App
Reminder and turn on the switch for all smartphone
apps that you wish to receive notifications on your
smartwatch. Tap
to save the setting. Go back to
Device tab, tap SMS reminder and in the following
screen turn on the switch.
3) Disable Do Not Disturb (DND) mode on the
smartwatch.
4) Disable Low Power mode on the watch.
2.5.2 VIEWING MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS
1) To view a list of message notifications, swipe up the
smartwatch home screen. Tap on the message to
read more or delete the message by tapping the bin
icon.
2) To return to the message notification list from a
message, swipe right on the smartwatch screen.
3) To clear all messages in the message notifications
list, scroll to the bottom of the list and tap the bin
icon.
