4.4.1 Mounting the LRF module with detached Laserbox
In order to mount and operate the LRF 7047 with a detached Laserbox follow the steps below:
1. The LRF module must be unplugged
2. Loosen both screws (A) with a T5 screwdriver and remove the flexcable protective cover
3. Loosen both screws (B) with a T6 screwdriver and remove the Fiber protective cover
4. Carefully remove the fiber from the holder and unroll
Warning
 The bending radius of the fiber should not be less than 5mm
 Do not kink the fiber
 Do not pull the fiber connectors
5. After the fiber has been unrolled, reattach the Fiber protective cover and tighten the screws to
30 Ncm
6. Unscrew the four Laserbox mounting screws (C) using a T10 screwdriver and remove the screws
7. Carefully lift the Laserbox
8. Remove the washers from the 4 rubber spacers
9. Unscrew and remove the 4 rubber spacers

10. Screw the 4 rubber spacers into M4 screw holes at the desired location and tighten them. A
clearance of 5 mm on each side of the Laserbox has to be available to allow movement of the
Laserbox due to shock and vibration
11. Replace the 4 washers onto the rubber spacers
