Essential Requirements for CE Compliance
Conditions 1-3 listed below must be satisfied for HPVFE drives to meet the requirements of EN61800-3.
1. Grounding as described in Figure 1.6. Refer to page 1-6 for additional grounding recommendations.
2. Output power, control (I/O) and signal wiring must be braided, shielded cable with a coverage of 75% or
better, metal conduit or equivalent attenuation.
3. Allowable cable length in Table 1.I is not exceeded.

(1) First Environment Unrestricted Distribution installations require a shielded enclosure. Keep wire length as short as possible between
the enclosure entry point and the EMI filter.
