Operation
2. Turnthezeroadjuster(6.2)untilthe
valve just starts to move from its initial
position.
3. Increase the input signal and slowly re-
duceitagainto20mA.Checkwhether
the valve starts to move at exactly
20mA.
4. Correct any deviation at the zero adjust-
er(6.2).Turningtheadjustercounter-
clockwise causes the valve to move from
itsendpositionearlier;turningclockwise
causes the valve to move from its end po-
sition later.

creasetheinputsignalto4mAatthe

must stand still, having moved through
100%travel(watchthetravelindicator
atthevalve).
2. If the upper range value is incorrect, turn
thespanadjuster(travel).Fourturnscor-

tion,thisvalueisreducedbyhalf.
Turn the adjuster clockwise to reduce the
travel and counterclockwise to increase
it.
3. Afterthecorrectionhasbeencompleted,
settheinputsignalto20mAagain.
4. Turnthezeroadjuster(6.2)againuntil
the pressure gauge indicates the re-
quiredsignalpressure (see section
4.1.2).
NOTICE
After mounting and tuning the posi-
tioner, make sure that the vent plug of
the housing cover faces downward
when the valve is installed.
