Tethering and Mobile Hotspot
Use this option to share your device's mobile data connection
with a Mobile Hotspot or USB tethering.
Mobile Hotspot
Note:
To enable Mobile Hotspot on your device, dial 611 or go
to
att.com/mywireless
to set up the service.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
Mobile Hotspot
.
– or –
From the
Settings
screen, touch
Tethering and
Mobile hotspot
➔
Mobile Hotspot
.
The Mobile Hotspot screen displays.
2. Touch the
ON/OFF
button at the top of the screen to turn
Mobile Hotspot on.
Note:
When enabled, the Mobile Hotspot icon displays in
the Status Bar.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to use Mobile Hotspot.
USB Tethering
Note:
To enable USB tethering on your device, dial 611 or go to
att.com/mywireless
to set up the service.
1. From the
Settings
screen, touch
Tethering and
Mobile hotspot
.
2. Connect your device to your PC using a USB cable.
3. Touch
USB tethering
to add a check mark and activate
the feature.
Note:
When enabled, the USB tethering icon displays in
the Status Bar.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to use USB tethering.
