Section 9: Settings
This section explains the settings used for customizing your
device. If settings are described in another section of this
user manual, then a cross reference to that description is
provided.
•
Some options use an
ON/OFF
button to turn the option
on or off .
•
For some options, you must touch a field, such as
Email address
,
to display and set options.
•
Some options are enabled or disabled by touching a check box.
When enabled, a check mark displays. Tap the check mark
to remove it and disable the option.
How To Use Settings
Accessing Settings
From a Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
Settings

From any screen, touch the top of the screen and
swipe downward, to display the Notification Panel, and
then touch
Settings
.
The Settings screen displays.
Search for Settings
If you are not sure exactly where to find a certain setting, you
can use the Setting search feature.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
Settings
.
2. Touch
Search
.
•
Enter a word or words in the Search box. As you type, settings
that match will appear on the screen.
•
Touch an entry to go to that setting.
Change How Settings Are Listed
Settings can be listed in a grid view (default), a list view, or a
tab view.

View as
.
3. Select a view.
