Switching Off the Microphone (Mute)
You can temporarily switch your device’s microphone off, so
that the other person cannot hear you.
Example:
You want to say something to someone in the
room, but do not want the person on the phone to
hear what you say.
Muting Your Phone During a Call
To mute your phone during a call:
1. Touch
Mute.
The
Mute
button now appears as and Mute is
activated.
2. Touch
Mute to deactivate the Mute function and
reactivate the microphone.
Bluetooth Headset
1. Touch Bluetooth.
2. The device will scan for your Bluetooth headset. When
found, connect to the headset.
The
Bluetooth
button now appears as and the
Bluetooth headset is activated.
3. Touch Bluetooth to deactivate the Bluetooth
headset and reactivate the device’s speaker.
Searching for a Number in Address Book
1. During an active call, touch
More options
then touch
Contacts
.
2. Touch the Address Book entry.
