Date and Time
To change the current time and date displayed:
From the
Settings
screen, touch
Date and time
.
The following options display:
• Automatic date and time
: Allows the network to set the date
and time. Disable this option to set date and time manually.

Set date
: Enter the current date.

Set time
: Enter the current time.
• Automatic time zone
: When enabled, the device takes the
time zone from the wireless network. Disable this option to set
time zone manually.

Select time zone
: Choose your local time zone (only available
when the Automatic setting is disabled).
• Use 24-hour format
: Sets the format for time displays. If this
option is not selected, the device automatically uses a 12-hour
format.
• Select date format
: Sets the format for date displays.
Safety Assistance
Receive real-time information about emergencies and severe
weather conditions.
You can also enable Emergency mode: a power-conserving
mode that restricts certain apps and functions while allowing
access to Messages, Contacts, and emergency calls.
Emergency Mode
Use Emergency mode to conserve batter power during
emergencies. Power-hungry apps and functions are disable,
but you are still able to send messages, use Contacts, and
make emergency calls.

Emergency mode

3. Touch the
ON/OFF
button at the top of the screen to turn
the feature on.
