Deleting Contact Entries from the Phone
You can delete Phone or SIM entries from your device’s
memory.
1. Touch
Contacts
.
2. Touch and hold a contact that you want to delete. A
selection screen appears.
3. Touch
Delete
.
4. At the
Delete contact
prompt, touch
Delete
to delete the
contact or
Cancel
to exit.
Note:
If account sync is turned on, deleting contacts that are
saved under that account will also delete those contacts
from the account.
Groups
Assign contacts to Groups to make searching for contacts
faster or to quickly call or send messages to group members.
There are several default groups that are predefined, which
you can use to add your contacts, or you can create new
groups.
Creating a New Group
1.
Touch Contacts
➔
Groups
➔
Create group
.
2. Touch the
Group name
field and use the onscreen
keyboard to enter a new group name. Touch
Done
to
remove the keyboard.
3. Touch
Add member
to select contacts to add to the
group. Select the contacts to add and touch
Done
when
finished.
4. Touch
Group ringtone
to choose a ringtone for
assignment to this new group. Touch a ringtone to hear
how it sounds, then touch
OK
.

Touch
Add
to select a ringtone from your music files.
5. Touch
Group message tone
to choose an alert tone for
assignment to this new group, then touch
OK
.
6. Touch
Group vibration pattern
to choose a vibration file
for this new group, then touch
OK
.
7. Touch
Save
to save the new contact Group.
