160 Managing Mail
Sending Messages
When e-mail is sent from your phone, it is stored in the
Outbox folder until a HotSync operation is performed. During
the synchronization process, your phone transfers messages
stored in the Outbox to the desktop e-mail application. The
mail is then sent from the desktop e-mail application the next
time it sends mail.
Sending a Message
1. Create a new message or reply to a message. (See
"Creating, Viewing, and Replying to Messages" on page
154 for more information.)
2. Tap “Send”.
Editing an Un-sent Message
Any message that is still located in the Outbox can be modified
prior to the HotSync operation.
Editing a Message
1. From the New Message screen, tap the drop down menu
located in the upper right corner.
2. Select “Outbox”.
3. The Outbox screen is displayed. Tap the desired message
from the list.
