Deleting Messages
Your phone stores deleted messages in the “Deleted” folder up
to the maximum capability of 50Kb. When the size limit is
reached, messages are automatically deleted to make room for
the newly deleted messages. The message with the oldest date
is deleted first.
Deleting a Message
1. Open the message that you want to delete.
2. Tap the “Delete” button.
Removing a Message from the Deleted Folder
1. In the iMessenger list screen, tap “Deleted” from the drop
down menu located in the upper right corner.
2. Tap the desired message to restore.
3. Tap the “Undelete” button.
4. The message is returned to the folder where it was
originally deleted.
Purging Deleted Messages
Since the Deleted folder only has a capacity of 50Kb, it is
important to purge messages. When messages are purged, they
are permanently deleted from memory.
Note:
You cannot restore purged
messages. Make sure
that you no longer need
the messages before they
are purged.
1. Tap the Menu Launcher icon .
2. Select “Message” and tap “Purge Deleted”.
3. Tap “Yes” to confirm the deletion.
