2. Enter the first few letters of the desired name.
3. Tap the “Lookup” button.
4. If the letters entered identify someone in the Address Book,
the e-mail address is automatically entered into the “To:”
field. If not, the Lookup dialog box is displayed and shows
a list of possible e-mail addresses.
5. When the desired address is found, tap the e-mail address
to select.
6. Tap the “Add” button to add the address to the Address
Book.
Changing the “Reply To:” Address
The e-mail address that is listed in the “From:” field is the
Palm.net address. To avoid having people replying to the
Palm.net address, a different e-mail address can be entered
that corresponds to a desktop e-mail account. This saves air
time charges that would normally apply while downloading
your messages.
To reroute messages:
1. Tap the Menu Launcher icon .
2. Select “Options” and tap “Preferences”.
3. In the edit line for “Reply to Address”, enter the
forwarding e-mail address.
4. Tap “OK”.
Adding a Signature
A signature is used to append the body text of a normal
message. Usually the signature contains information that you
send in every message, such as your name and phone number.
The signature is not automatically entered each time a new e-
mail is created; you have to tap the “Add Signature” button to
have it included with the new e-mail message.
