62 Making and Answering Calls
䊳 DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) Tones: This
option allows you to transmit the DTMF tones of your
phone. DTMF tones are used to control electronic menus,
such as voicemail or banking services.
䊳 Version: Displays the software and hardware version
information of your phone.
Record
The record option is used to record a caller. This is a good
option for remembering phone numbers, addresses, etc.
To record:
1. Place a call to the desired party.
2. Tap to display the InCall menu.
3. Tap Record. You can record up to 60 seconds at a time. A
total of 10 messages can be saved.
4. Press once to return to the Sprint PCS Phone™ main
menu.
Note: Only press the button once, do not hold the button
down or else the phone will shut off.
(Un)Mute
1. Place a call to the desired party.
2. Tap to display the InCall menu.
3. Tap (Un)Mute to mute your voice. Tap (Un)Mute again to
un-mute your voice.
