Entering Numbers, Symbols, Emoticons,
and Preset Messages
To enter numbers:
䊳 Select the Number mode and press the appropriate
key. (See “Selecting a Text Input Mode” on
page 34.)
To enter symbols:
䊳 Select the Symbols mode. (See “Selecting a Text
Input Mode” on page 34.) To enter a symbol, press
the appropriate key indicated on the display.
To enter Smileys:
䊳 From a screen where you can enter text, press
Options (right softkey) > Insert Smiley. (See
“Selecting a Text Message Option” on page 35.)
Press the number corresponding to the desired
smiley.
To enter preset messages:
1. From a screen where you can enter text, press
Options (right softkey) > Add Preset Message. (See
“Selecting a Text Message Option” on page 35.)
Note
When selecting Dual Language, Spanish characters
are also added to those listed above.
