Fault-Interrupting Rating
NOTICE
Make sure to select the correct fault-interrupting rating for the switchgear. These
ratings will set the upper limit of the Definite Time Current, Low-Current Cutoff,
and Minimum Trip Current values.
The Fault-Interrupting Rating setting congures the overcurrent control for the
interrupting rating of the switchgear. There are two interrupter rating settings available
for Vista SD Switchgear:
12.5 kA
16 kA
Vista SD Underground Distribution Switchgear is not available with a 25-kA fault-
interrupting rating. Only select the 12.5-kA or 16-kA fault-interrupting rating depending
on the fault-interrupting rating of the switchgear. To change the Fault-Interrupting
Rating setting:
STEP 1. From the Global Settings menu, select the Fault-Interrupting Rating
setting to match the interrupting rating listed on the switchgear nameplate.

Click on the Save button. A message will display showing that the setting has
been saved.
Programming the Control Settings
