Troubleshooting
If after checking the above, the unit is still not operating correctly please contact Santec's
technical support division.
Problem Possible Cause Remedy
Power cable is unplugged.M ake sure the cable is plugged in.
Fuse blown.
No fuse.
Unable to use front
panel.
In GPIB remote mode.
If the GPIB remote LED is lit, press
local key to release the GPIB remote
mode. Note this function will not
work if the Front Panel lockout
command has been issued via
GPIB.
No light output.
Wavelength of input light is different
from wavelength setting of filter.
Set wavelength or use peak search
to scan for wavelength peak.
GPIB address is not set correctly.
Press Shift +Local to check GPIB
address and set if necessary.
Delimiter setting is incorrect.C heck the delimiter setting.
Cable is not connected properly.C heck the connection of the cable.
Communication protocol is incorrect.C heck the communication protocol.
Delimiter setting is incorrect.C heck the delimiter setting.
Cable is not connected properly.C heck the connection of the cable.
Cable is not wired correctly.
Check the pin assignment of the
cable.
Check the supply voltage and fuse.
Unable to switch on.
RS-232C
Communication is not
possible.
GPIB Communication is
not possible.
