14�6 Measures to Protect Exposed Shaft Surfaces
Although the quality is superior, the surfaces of shaft can also be easily corroded in a corrosive situation. If
shut-down time of the crane exceeds one day, it is required to coat protective acid-free lubricating grease
to avoid corrosion on exposed surfaces.
