Caution-1
: The following caution is the important matter
for maintaining the safety of a product.
Each illumination time of lamp is managed by CPU. Careful marking of
the lamp assemblies
before their removal from the optical unit, will ensure
proper reassembly.
If the locations of LAMP-1 and LAMP-2 are
mistaken, the CPU can't manage each illumination time of the
lamp.
It will have been using the lamp over which the useful life passed.
It may cause the burst of the lamp.
4.
Polarization glasses and optical fil-
ters removal.
1. See note-1 before the polarization glasses and optical filters
removal.
2. Remove 3 screws A and stoppers, then remove the polarization
glasses and optical filters.
3. See notes 2 and 3 before their reassembly.
Note ;
1. Characteristic ( Polarization glasses and optical filters)
Each glass uses different characteristic polarizer or filter. Careful
marking of the glasses before their removal from the LCD
panel/Prism assembly, will ensure proper reassembly.
2. Film side (Polarization glasses and Optical filters)
Film side is located outside.
3. Printed mark (Optical filters)
Printed mark is located upside.
Caution-2 :
Don't disassemble.
The lamp assembly is safety significant
part. Don't attempt to disassemble the
lamp assembly.
* Reliability may be spoiled.
( Dielectric strength / Thermal stability)
* Light bulb may be damaged.

Lamp assemblies and Assembly mir-
ror removal.
1. See caution-1 before the lamp assemblies removal.
2. Turn 4 screws A and remove the 2 Lamp assemblies. (
Note : The screws A can
not be removed from the Lamp assemblies.

2. Remove 4 screws B and remove the assembly mirror.
Note : Don't turn the adjustment screw.
Don't attempt to turn the screw for the optical axis adjustment on the lamp
assembly. Readjusting is impossible. It will become to need the precise
adjustment at a factory. (NOTE; Any of the projector models are not equipped with the
adjustment screw on the lamp assemblies.
)
