HINT
To pause or cancel the self-timer function...
i If the shutter release button is pressed again before the image is captured,
the self-timer countdown temporarily stops. Press the shutter release but-
ton one more time to restart the self-timer.
i To cancel self-timer photography, select the self-timer off icon and
press the SET button.
When is selected...
i When the shutter release button is pressed, the illumination light and the
accessing indicator will light for about 7 seconds, the accessing indicator
will flash for about 3 seconds, the illumination light will change color, and
then the image is captured. Also, 3 seconds before the shutter releases,
the beep tone will sound.
NOTE
i When using the self-timer function, be sure to use a tripod or place the dig-
ital camera on a level, stable surface.
