Install the battery pack and card
The card can be used after it has been formatted with the camera (see page 151).
Make sure that the battery pack polarity ((+) and (–)) and the card orientation
are correct.
5 Insert the battery pack.
6 Insert the card.
h Take special care to orient the card correctly when inserting it.
Attempting to insert the card incorrectly may result in damage.

Open battery compartment cover on the
camera bottom.
Insert the battery pack.
Contact end
Push back
Close the battery compartment cover.
To remove the battery pack...
1 Open
2 Push
back
3 Pull out

Open battery compartment cover on the
camera bottom.
Insert all the way until it clicks.
Contact end
Close the battery compartment cover.
To remove the card...
1 Open
2 Push in
3 Pull out
Do not attempt to forcibly remove
the card.
