What to do if my Sceptre Monitor says “Signal Out of Range”?
    • K
      kevin81Sep 5, 2025
If your Sceptre Monitor says “SIGNAL OUT OF RANGE”, and you have a CRT monitor, connect it to the computer and lower the refresh rate to 60 Hz via your video card’s display settings. If you don't have a CRT monitor or it's broken, turn off both the monitor and your computer. Turn them back on, and as the computer starts, repeatedly press the “F8” key until a selection menu appears. Choose the “Safe Mode” option. In Safe Mode, uninstall any video card and monitor drivers using “Add / Remove Programs” or through “System Properties”, removing entries under “Monitors” and “Display Adapters”. Reboot your computer, reinstall the monitor driver first, then the video card driver, ensuring the refresh rate is set to 60Hz.
