External water filter
Maintenance
The coffee machine requires regular maintenance. The maintenance schedule depends on
multiple factors, especially the degree to which the machine is used.
When maintenance is due, the machine indicates this on the display. The machine can con-
tinue to be operated normally.
Notify your service partner that maintenance is due.
CAUTION!
Risk of machine
damage!
Failure to perform required maintenance in due time may lead to wear and mean that
reliable operation is no longer assured.
Inform the service partner as soon as possible after the maintenance message appears.
Service routine
The due date of a service routine depends on the number of cycles (number of beverages dis-
pensed) or the time period (months) over which the machine has been operated.
The external water filter must be replaced by an authorised service partner/service technician
after the programmed number of litres is reached.
The "Water quality" supplementary instructions include information on recording the water val-
ues and using filter equipment. The supplementary instructions can be requested from
Schaerer AG or downloaded directly from the MediaCentre on the website (http://www.schaer-
er.com/member).
