1.7.4 SCHLAGE SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
1) The Schlage Utility Software (SUS) must be installed on the HHD (typically this comes preinstalled on your HHD)
• You MUST REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORDS to the HHD
• Do not try to couple more than one Hand Held Device to the same door; each door can be coupled to
only one Hand Held Device. If you couple a second Hand Held Device to the door, then it will no longer
work with the first Hand Held Device.
2) The Windows Mobile Synchronization software must be installed on your PC : this is used to transfer Schlage
firmware and software files from your PC, the Schlage HHD and PIM/Schlage devices
If Mobile Synchronization software is not on your PC, go to

us/downloads and download the Mobile Device software that matches your Windows OS.
• Download and install Microsoft ActiveSync = Windows XP
• Download and install Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center = Windows-7 & Vista.
