When exchanging the silicone hose on the lid speculums, ensure not to
exceed the length of 50 cm.
Otherwise the efficiency of the reprocessing procedure can no longer be
ensured.
SCHWIND eye-tech solutions recommends as an accessory the lid speculum with aspiration,
K-wire, type “Wiltfang", Art.No. H-1022, from ALBERT HEISS GmbH & Co.KG, Stockacher Strasse
138, 78532 Tuttlingen, Germany, which we have verified to be mechanically compatible with the
Carriazo-Pendular.
The above recommended lid speculum can be obtained from SCHWIND.
We cannot guarantee compatibility of other lid speculums due to the possibility of collision
between the lid speculum and the Carriazo-Pendular cutting head or and/or the motor during
tilting movement while cutting. Extreme cases could result in complications with the cut.
CAUTION
Use only lid speculums which are recommended and provided by SCHWIND
eye-tech-solutions.
Use of lid speculums which are not original provided from SCHWIND eye-tech-
solutions may result in severe surgical complications.
SCHWIND cannot be held liable for damages resulting from the use of a lid
speculum from other manufacturing sources.
4.5 Approved System Combinations
The system combinations approved by SCHWIND eye-tech-solutions are:
o Tubings for Carriazo-Pendular
o Lid Speculum, as specified above in section 4.4.2.
The Declarations of Conformity can be found on the Product Documentation DVD enclosed
in the Acompanying Documentation folder “SCHWIND MEDICAL PRODUCTS”; art.no.
202160x-01 (EN), 202160x-02 (DE).
CAUTION
The Carriazo-Pendular may only be connected to medical computers approved
by SCHWIND eye-tech-solutions.
Other than the above mentioned system combinations are not approved by
SCHWIND eye-tech-solutions!
SCHWIND does not assume responsibility for any other combinations and the
implications of misuse!
