Unauthorized starting of initial installation/start-up or use of the device invalidates
the warranty.
Do not install any devices other than those defined in the prescribed system
combination (refer to chapter 4.5).
5.6 Transportation to another Location
If you intend to transport the microkeratome to a new location, observe the following points:
Switch off the system.
Make sure that no components or diagnostic devices can drop or overbalance.
Securely fasten the system components and/or accessories, such as foot switch, head set
using packing tape to prevent damage of the components or injury of personnel.
Place the system carefully on a mobile cart and transport it. Avoid bumps and (heavy)
vibrations.
Re-check the system functions after connecting all components and perform calibration
or test procedure of the device as required in the respective user manual.
CAUTION
Allow the whole system to adapt to a new operating environment (temperature,
humidity etc.) before you start your treatments.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Only the above listed steps for disconnection and connection of cables are
necessary for transportation of the system to another location and are allowed
to be executed by the user.
