For disinfection, wipe all sides of the electric motor/drive
and the cable with a lint-free cloth dampened with
disinfection solution.
Before treatment, check the motor for oscillation and movement! Refer to manual Treatment
Guideline.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
A wiping disinfection should be performed directly after use.
It is recommended to store the motor in an upright or vertical position.
This method applies only to those parts which will not come into direct contact
with the patient, as well as to those parts which, for technical reasons, the
standard procedure of soaking/pre-cleaning followed by automatic
disinfection/cleaning cannot be applied.
CAUTION
Do not use abrasives, scrapers or knives for cleaning! This can lead to reduced
precision of the cutting head and to unforeseen damage.
Never immerse the electric drive or the motor cable into cleaning solution!
Do not sterilize the console/motor/drive or the motor cable, neither with an
autoclave nor with ETO gas!
