13.1 SeaStar Electronic Power Steering Fluid

13.0 REPLACEMENT PARTS
The Optimus 360 Steering System requires genuine SeaStar
Electronic Power Steering Fluid.
In an emergency condition if SeaStar Electronic Power steering fluid is
not available, the following fluids may be used for a short period of time:
• SeaStarSteeringFluid
• AutomaticTransmissionFluid
• MotorOil
If any of the above are used in the system, then the system should
be flushed and refilled with SeaStar Electronic Power steering fluid
when the boat is returned to port. In case of extreme emergency,
any non-toxic, non-flammable fluid may provide temporary steering.
NEVER USE BRAKE FLUID.
