There is no power and my Pipit seems to have lost connection with Smart Meter. Do I need pairing it again?
No, Smart Meter remembers which unit it is been paired with. When power is back your unit will automatically
update the display.
Can I use my Pipit 500 at our new address?
If you are changing house then you should re-pair your Pipit 500 with the Smart Meter connected at your new
address.
Can I delete messages from my display unit?
Some messages from the retailer are deleted automatically. A message displayed with a diagonal line across it
has been cancelled by the Retailer, but you will need to press OK to delete it. The Erase Data icon from the
Advanced Settings menu will delete all messages at once but it will also delete all historical usage data and
other valuable information stored in Pipit which cannot be retrieved later, therefore use it with caution.
Why is the display showing negative value under ‘GEN’?
A negative value indicates that you are generating more power than what you are currently using.
