An externally supplied WIC1‑4 allows for connecting an output relay that operates as a
“Healthy” / self-supervision contact. (See diagram.)

The output relay must fulll the specications in ╚═▷ “9.1.8.3 Relay Ouput (WIC1‑4)”.
2. ▷
The operating mode of the “Out+/−” output must be set via software parameter as
follows:
• [Device Para / WIC1 / Output] »Prot . Out. Mode« = “Syst. O.K. & Ext.Suppl.”•
(There is a special device-internal “Healthy” signal, that is used particularly for this purpose,
see also the diagram ╚═▷ Fig. 40 in ╚═▷ “4.1.1.1 Trip Pulse and WIC1 LEDs”. With the setting
above, this signal gets – internally and invisibly – assigned to the “Out+/−” output.)
