8) Checking the transmission chains lubrication
(Fig. 58).
Check the transmission chains lubrication and, if
necessary, lubricate with oil of the same type (see 6.3
Lubricant table).
For an uniformly transmission chains lubrication use a
brush.

9) Changing the hydraulic system oil (Fig. 59)
It is a good idea to change the hydraulic oil after about
1500 working hours.
For this operation unscrew the loading cap (1) and the
discharge cap (2) and let the oil running out. To collect it,
use a container with a proper capacity to avoid polluting
the environment.
At the end of the operation, close the plug 2. Through the
plug 1 fill up with oil of the same type and characteristics
as that used before (see ā€œ6.3 Lubricant table) until the
MAX. indicator level is reached 3.Screw the plug 1 back
on.
The liquid used and collected must not be
disposed of in the environment, because
according to the laws in force it is defined as
special waste and as such should be consigned
to bodies authorised for the gathering, storage
and disposal of these waste products. Consult
the nearest ASSOCIATION FOR USED OIL.
EVERY 2000 HOURS
10) Changing the oil in the reduction gears (Fig. 60)
It is a good idea to change the hydraulic oil after about
2000 working hours or at least once a year.
For the changing of the oil in the reduction gears, proceed
as follows:
a) unscrew the drain plug 1, after putting a container
(tank) to collect the used oil;
b) unscrew the filling cap 2 and the level plug 3 (the level
plug 3 in some reduction gears models can be in each
side);
c let the oil drain; for this reason place a container under
the plug in order to collect the oil and not to pollute the
ground.
d) retighten the drain plug 1 and fill with oil of the same
type (6.3 par Lubricant table) through the hole 2, until the
oil comes out of the hole 3.
e) retighten the plugs 2 and 3.
