About Your SSD2-HS Disintegrator System
What the SSD2-HS Includes
The SSD2-HS package includes the SSD2-HS disintegrator, HEPA vacuum fan system, flex vacuum hose to
attach SSD2-HS to the fan system, interconnecting wire, power cord (no plug), two hose clamps, and five

Overview and Intended Use
The SSD2-HS solid state media shredder employs a dual stage destruction system to destroy solid state
drives and other e-media, bringing them down to a user-selected particle size. A 2mm screen is typical for
high-security destruction.
Size and Weight: When fully assembled, the SSD2-HS is approximately 49” (124.46 cm) tall by 53” (134.62
cm) wide and 34” (86.36 cm) deep, with a 67” (170.18 cm) tall by 26” (66.04 cm) wide and 48” (121.92 cm)
deep vacuum fan system located within 4’ of the disintegrator. The SSD2-HS weighs approximately 2,200 lb
(1000 kg), and the vacuum fan system weighs 300 lb (136 kg).

The following materials are acceptable to destroy with the SSD2-HS. For throughputs, please see Acceptable
Materials and Feed Rates, page 13. Contact customer service with any questions regarding your unit’s
capability.

Unacceptable Material
The following materials should never be destroyed using an SSD2-HS shredder.
