Shutdown Procedure
1. Feed the final drive and wait until the FEED button illuminates again before pressing the STOP button to
allow the drive to clear the Stage 1 chamber.
2. Press the STOP button to initiate the timed shutdown. The timed shutdown is approximately five
minutes:
The Stage 1 chamber stops immediately.
The STOP button illuminates and the START button extinguishes.
Stage 2 and the vacuum fan system continue running.
3. Wait an additional 30 seconds after the timed shutdown is completed, then press the 0 button on the
vacuum fan system control panel.
4. When the timed shutdown is complete, push the CONTROL POWER OFF button on the left side of the
disintegrator to turn the unit off.
