• Connection Information: All SSD2-HS units are supplied with an open-ended power cord unless
otherwise specified when purchasing. This should be directly hardwired to a power disconnect
switch mounted in close proximity (one to two feet away) to the unit. Two sets of electrical
schematics are supplied with your unit: one set inside the front door and one set inside the electrical
panel. Additional copies of schematics are available upon request.
• Panels: All electrical panels contained within this unit carry a rating of IP65.
• 50Hz: Units shipped overseas are supplied with an open-ended cord.

Vacuum fan system electrical information
The vacuum fan system is equipped with a 1.5HP single phase motor wired directly to a transformer in the
electrical panel of the SSD2-HS disintegrator.
Full load amperage draw:
110V = 18.8 Amps
230V = 9.4 Amps
Power supply circuit requirements:
The power source circuit for the SSD2-HS unit must be grounded and rated for the amperage given
below. This work should only be performed by a qualified electrician.
Circuit size: 230V – 20 Amps
Minimum circuit size: 120V – 30 Amps minimum
System Interconnections
Connect the flex vacuum hose and the yellow communication cable from the vacuum fan system to the
SSD2-HS disintegrator unit.
