If the POWER light is ON, but the display is either absent or corrupted on your Senztek Water Heater, it might be due to a power brownout. In this case, switch off the power while the mains power is unstable. If the issue persists, switch off the power for 10 minutes, then switch it back on to see if the unit operates normally. If not, the unit needs repair.

    • K
      Kyle JacksonAug 23, 2025
If the pump on your Senztek Water Heater is running continuously, it could be due to several reasons. Here's what to check: * The pump may be cavitating. If it sounds like stones are passing through it, see section under Plumbing Tips. * Long pump times may be normal for a special installation. * Incorrect programming for pump ON and Pump Off. * Airlock in pipe. Ensure that air relief valves are correctly installed and operating.

Why is pump not running on my Senztek Water Heater when sunny?
    • C
      Christopher BestAug 26, 2025
If the display is on, but the pump isn't running on your Senztek Water Heater, even when it's sunny outside and the pump light is off, consider the following: * The roof sensor may read 'Hi' on the display, which is normal operation and indicates the pump is disabled. * The ROOF sensor is not thermally bonded to the solar panel outlet. * The water might not be hot enough yet. Check the temperatures of the ROOF and TANK. They need to be higher than the difference programmed for PUMP ON (standard 12°C). Wait.
