7.5.1 Using the DynaStop
®
function in connection with the STO function
To use the DynaStop
®
function in connection with the STO function,
SEW‑EURODRIVE recommends control according to SS1(c).
To do so, the parameter setting "Stop default DT1" = 1 (Brake applied/drive not ener-
gized) is required (default setting).
The following table shows the behavior of the DynaStop
®
function depending on the
parameter setting:

The drive decelerates along the set ramp. When the drive reaches
speed "0", DynaStop

is not activated.

is not activated safety-relatedly.
