2 Load the document.
e If desired, press the RESOLUTION
key to make a resolution and/or con-
trast setting.
3 Press the START key.
4 Start your fax software on your computer
(if it is not already running) and select
manual reception. The document will be
scanned and sent to your computer.
Using your fax as a printer
To have your fax print out a document which you have prepared with your fax
software, follow the steps below.
1 FUNCTION Make sure the fax is set to PC Mode
(press the FUNCTION key and then
the "#" key). "PC" will appear next to the
time in the display.
2 Send the document by manual transmis-
sion with your fax software on your com-
puter. If your software does not have a
manual transmission function, enter any
number in your software’s auto-dial
phonebook that is not a real phone num-
ber (such as "#H#" or "6#"), and then dial
that number .
Wait until "LINE IS IN USE" appears in
your fax’s display, and then press the
START key. Your fax will print out the
document.
