Reading
glass
and
rollers
Clean
the
reading
glass
and
rollers
frequently
to
ensure
the
quality
of
transmitted
images
and
copies.
Open
the
operation
panel
by
pulling
the
front
edge
up
(grasp
it
at
the
"PANEL
RELEASE"
mark),
and
clean
them
as
shown
below.
Wipe
the
reading
glass,
white
backplate,
and
rollers
with
a
soft
cloth
or
cotton
swab.

Make
sure
that
all
dirt
and
stains
(such
as
correcting
fluid)
are
removed,
as
these
will
cause
vertical
lines
on
transmitted
images
and
copies.
Document
White
backplate

Reading
glass
The
housing
Wipe
the
external
parts
and
surface
of
the
machine
with
a
dry
cloth.
Caution!
®
Do
not
use
benzene
or
thinner.
These
solvents
may
damage
or
discolor
the
machine.
