most

office
documents.
Specific
guidelines
are
as
follows:
Size

weight
The
size
and
weight
of
documents
which
you
can
load
in
the
document
feeder
depend
on
whether
you
load
one
sheet
at
a
time
or
several
sheets
at
once.

Note:
The
area
of
the
document
which
is
scanned
by
the fax
is
slightly
smaller
than
the
actual
document
size.
The
scanning
width
is
8.3
inches,
and
the
scanning
length
is
the
length
of
the
document
minus
0.32
inches.
Other
restrictions
#
Documents
written
in
yellow,
greenish
yellow,
or
light
blue
ink
cannot
be
transmitted,
as
the
scanner
does
not
recognize
these
colors.

Ink,
glue,
and
correcting
fluid
on
documents
must
be
dry
before
they
are
transmitted.

Allclips,
staples,
and
pins
must
be
removed
from
documents
before
transmission.
If
these
are
not
removed,
they
may
damage
the
fax.

Documents
which
are
patched,
taped,
tom,
smaller
than
the
minimum
size,
carbon
backed,
or
easily
smudged
should
be
photocopied,
and
the
copy
used
for
transmission.
