Clean the print head frequently to ensure optimum printing performance. To clean
the print head, first unplug the power cord, open the paper compartment cover
(grasp the finger hold on the right side of the cover and pull up), and remove the
imaging film.

Wipe the print head and roller with a
soft cloth dampened with denatured al-
cohol.

Caution!
© Do not use benzene or thinner. Avoid touching the print head with hard objects.
@ The print head may be hot if your fax machine has just received a large number
of documents. If this is the case, allow the print head to cool prior to cleaning.
