GAS LINES AND HEPA FILTERS
For the Optional Filtered Gas Tubing Kit
The manufacturer recommends replacing the in-line gas HEPA filters once per year or
when a filter is noticeably discolored.
• HEPA filters are directional and must be installed facing in the correct direction.
• The word “IN” is stamped on the rim of the filter assembly on the side that faces
toward the gas supply. See page 22.
Gas lines should be replaced when cracking, brittleness, permanent kinking, or other
signs of damage are present.
ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
Electrical components do not require maintenance. If the incubator fails to operate as specified,
please contact your distributor or Customer Support for assistance (please see page 8).
STORING THE INCUBATOR
Perform the following steps if the incubator will be out of use for more than 24 hours to prevent
microbiological contamination such as fungus or mold.
1. Depower the incubator.
2. Disinfect and clean if required by your laboratory protocol, or if the chamber has been
exposed to pathogenic microorganisms.
3. Use a soft cloth to dry the chamber surfaces.
