A constantly red LED light on your Shell Automobile Accessories charge point without a charge cable plugged in indicates a possible low/high voltage warning, grounding failure, or that the charge point is not leveled. To resolve this, follow these steps: 1. Reboot the charge point by turning it off and on. 2. Ensure the charge point is installed vertically, as a tilt sensor may be preventing charging. 3. Measure the voltage at the grid connection, ensuring it's within 207-253V; if not, contact the local grid operator. 4. Measure the voltage at the charge point, ensuring it's within 207-253V; if not, check the power cable. 5. Measure the earth resistance, ensuring it's below 100 Ohms; if higher, install a grounding solution. If the issue persists, the charge point might be broken.
