JACKS AND JACKING POSITION
CAUTION
Observe these safety precautions before
jacking your tractor.
1. Ensure the unit is on level ground.
2. Shut off engine and apply the parking
brake and engage front wheel drive.
3. Place wheel locker block (1) in Figure 3-41,
firmly where front of both front wheels
when jack a rear wheel or rear of both rear
wheels when jack a front wheel.
4. Ensure the jack has adequate capacity to
lift your tractor.
5. Place jack on a firm, level surface.
6. Place the front axle swing stopper wedge
block (2) in Figure 3-41, between the front
axle (3) in Figure 3-41, and front frame (4)
in Figure 3-41, both side.
Front side jacking point is recommended at
center of front frame bumper.
WARNING
Do not place any part of your body beneath
the tractor or start the engine while the tractor
is on the jack.
Rear side jacking point is recommended at
bottom of transmission housing around the lower
lift link pivot. Set the rose position for lower lift link
before attempt jacking.
