CLEANING THE RESERVOIR
To prevent mold growth, always rinse out the reservoir and hang to dry in a well ventilated area after every use.
Store in a clean, dry environment.
Periodically clean the reservoir by following these steps:
• Fill the reservoir, tube and bite valve with a solution of warm water and a hydration pack cleaning tablet, a couple of
tablespoons of baking soda or a mild dish detergent. Scrub the inside of the reservoir and tube with brushes for best
cleaning results, then close the reservoir. Do NOT use boiling water! This can damage the reservoir.
• Shake the solution in the reservoir and allow some solution to exit the tube. Allow the solution to sit in the reservoir and tube
for 15-30 minutes.
• Rinse with fresh water, then allow the reservoir and tube to airdry completely.
