DEMOUNTING WHEELS FOR
EARTHMOVING MACHINES AND WITH A
SIDE RING
Position the bead breaker disc flush with the rim.
Keeping the tyre rotating, press on the front bead until freeing the lock ring that is ex-
tracted with the specific lever (A fig.31).
Repeat the bead breaking operation on the rear side as shown in Fig. 32 and continue
until the tyre comes out, with or without the side ring.
WARNING
For wheels with an inner tube, be extremely carefully when stopping the bead
breaker disc from moving forward immediately after the bead is detached to pre-
vent damaging the valve and the inner tube.
Duringrotation,PAYATTENTIONtothering,makingsureitdoesnotslipoutor
drop accidentally.
CAUTION!
N.B.: If the side ring is stubbornly fixed to the rim, demount the tyre with the side ring
still attached (fig.31).
